주택은 사회를 이루는 가장 근본적인 공동체인 가족을 담는다. 가정을 담는 집이 잘 디자인 되고 또 가족과 같은 공동체를 잘 구성하고 활동하도록 커뮤니티가 이루어진다면 건강한 사회가 만들어지는데 건축이 좋은 역할을 할 것이라 믿는다.
예천 건축은 이러한 비전을 함께하고 구체적으로 좋은 건축디자인과 디자인의 흐름이 살아있는 시공 그리고 땅을 바르게 개발하는 기획 등 Total Architecture를 이루고자 한다.

천 근 우 | (주) 예천 종합 건축사 사무소 대표
홍익대학교에서 학사, 석사를 마친 후 미국 Pratt Institute (1991년)을 거쳐 University of Pennsylvania 에서 Master of Architecture Degree를 취득 (1993년)하였고, 그 후
홍익대, 고려대, 서울시립대, 남서울대, 가천대, 연변과기대 등 다수의 대학에서 겸임교수와 초청교수로 재직하였으며, 캄보디아 라이프대학교 건축대학 학장을 역임했다.
1994년부터 (주)YCH-예천 건축사 사무소 [현 (주) 예천 종합 건축사 사무소]의 대표 소장으로 주택과 교회 건축, 문화 시설, 상업시설, 교육시설 등을 비롯한 다양한 작품을 행해 왔으며, 건축 전문성을 바탕으로 국내외에 봉사활동을 펼치는 국제 전문인 도시건축 봉사단 BaMI의 대표로 건축 봉사 활동을 활발히 진행하고 있다.
주요 수상으로는 빛담집 (경기도 건축문화상 금상), Penguini (2016 Reddot Award Winner), Café en Rose (한국건축 문화 대상 입상), 천안 하늘 샘교회 (충남건축상 우수상), 원당영락교회 (인천시 아름다운 건축물상 최우수상), 건축의 내용과 형식 (한국건축가협회 건축대전 특선), Meditation Space (한국건축가협회 양남상), 햇둥이와 보득솔 (토탈디자인상 대상), 이탈리아 Amedeo Petrilli Studio 최우수상 등이 있다.
Daniel K. Cheon holds a bachelor of Architecture degree and Master of Architecture degree from Hongik University, Seoul. He enrolled in Graduate School of Architecture at Pratt Institute and received Master of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania. Cheon's academic career includes teaching at Hogik University, Korea University, University of Seoul, Namseoul University, Gachon University, Yanbian University of Science and Technology and served as the dean of Collage of Architecture and Ubiquitous City Design at Cambodia Life University.
Since 1994, as the founder and principal architect of Ye-Cheon Architects, Ltd.,
he has produced a wide range of award-winning projects, including housing, churches, innovative cultural, commercial, and educational facilities. As the president of Builders as a Mission International (BaMI), he has activated architectural professionals to carry out national and international volunteer work utilizing their talent and skills in meaningful ways.
Many of his projects have received design awards including the Light Gallery House (Gold prize of Gyeonggido Architecture and Cultural Award), Penguini (2016 Reddot Award Winner), Café en Rose (Grand prize of Korean Architecture Award), Cheonan Haneul Saem Chapel (Chungnam Architecture Award), Wondang Youngrak Church (Incheon city's Beautiful Architecture Award), Contents and Form of Architecture project (Korean Institute of Architects | KIA Architecture Award), Meditation Space (KIA Yangnam Award), Little Children with Young Tree (Grand prize of Total Design Award), and Top prize of Italy Amedeo Petrilli Studio.
